We are delighted to launch our new book ‘Adare Manor: An Epicurean Journey’. This is our second collaboration with award-winning travel writer and historian Turtle Bunbury. In this edition, Turtle turns his focus to the culinary story of the Adare Manor estate.
This hardback, large format book is a lavishly illustrated exploration of food and drink at Adare Manor, documenting the historical precedents and current exciting blossoming of our dining experience. Here, Turtle Bunbury traces the swift and remarkable voyage that has established Adare Manor as one of Ireland’s principal culinary landmarks.
Much of the success is down to our chefs, bakers, chocolatiers and pastry makers who are constantly nurturing and developing their creative flair and ingenuity. The quality of the produce is also key. Most of the ingredients used were sourced from artisan farms, gardens, orchards and coastal waters across Ireland that our head chefs visited during two culinary road trips.
With exceptional behind-the-scenes photography, this 176-page book celebrates the talents and focus of our team of chefs, sommeliers, mixologists, beekeepers, front of house staff and the entire culinary team who work so closely and so well together to create the food and drink experience across the entire resort.
A feast of stories and recipes too, from simple breads to elegant entrees and delectable desserts, ‘Adare Manor: An Epicurean Journey’ will be as useful a book to have in the kitchen as it is a handsome coffee table addition.
