Introducing a new and exclusive scent to our fragrance collection.
Crisp leaves underfoot. Graceful branches waving overhead. Dappled light dancing across your path. And magic, waiting for you around every corner. The Woodland Walk at Adare Manor is one of the most cherished parts of the estate. Trees are central to the identity of this place, particularly the mighty oak. It gave us our name: Áth Dara, “the ford of the oak”. It also inspired our Michelin starred restaurant, the Oak Room.
So when we asked one of Ireland’s most distinguished perfume houses to create a new, exclusive fragrance just for us, Lucy from La Bougie took our enchanted forest as inspiration. She also took elements from the wood panelling in the Oak Room, the massive fireplace in the Great Hall, and the ancient Cedar of Lebanon tree on the manor house grounds. The resulting perfume is a tranquil blend of woody notes: Cedarwood, Sandalwood, Blonde Oak and Palo Santo, overlaid with cashmere musks and a spicy hint of saffron.
